This house does not primarily serve artistic residences. It is a house where, during communism, people undesirable to the regime, specifically evangelical pastors' families, were sent. The house is located in a hermitage in the middle of a forest of the Little Carpathians. The position of this house, which is located on the edge of society and in the past was a zone of enforced social isolation, has changed. For us it became a place of conscious retreat and of concentrated, artistic work; a place that is hard to find in the scattered infrastructure of the Ruhr area.
