"MFK rummages through text materials from the 1980s and '90s from the three women's archives in Bochum on display at atelier automatique. "There are never enough flights of fancy, Spacetrotter. We're making something happen. Start new groups. Informing, massaging, counseling, self-examination, herbs + nutrition." Male, female, emancipated, our physicalities are copied, updated and projected. What means what?"

The exhibition "Emanzenexpress" dealt with three Bochum-based women's archives (Auszeiten Archiv, Madonne e.V. and Lieselle) and their significant influence on the historiography of the women's movement in Bochum and the Ruhr region since the 1980s. On the spontaneous invitation of the curator Eva Busch to become part of the series of events of her exhibition, we dealt with selected exhibition materials, especially leaflets from the archives. "The Blue Machine. Part 1" became an approximately one-hour improvisation of a dance and sports-oriented movement practice, playing with microphoned, looped and technically processed voices and the exhibition's flyers. Around 25 guests participated.
